Ritual after the ocean.

What we believe

The ocean shapes our lives.

Salt water and long light leave skin warm and awake, and it already knows how to settle back into itself.

We formulate for what skin and soul crave. Papaya and tropical fruit, bright and juicy. Macadamia oil from Hawaiʻi and raw nut butters that melt the moment they touch warm skin. Hawaiian sandalwood, soft and woody, the last note to fade.

After the elements

A life in the water, poured into every bottle.

Shelley

OSHAN Founder- @33 weeks pregnant

Shelley grew up in the water. She swam competitively, then traveled and surfed professionally. She studied aromatherapy, herbalism, natural perfumery and design, and taught movement and yoga for years.

After a decade in fashion, where she built her own jewelry brand, she wanted work that changed how people feel in their bodies. OSHAN was born where her two worlds met: aromatherapy, and care for skin that spends its days in the sun.

She writes each essential oil blend first and builds the skincare around it. A lifelong fascination with Japanese culture, and most of all its onsen bathing rituals, shapes how OSHAN is used: slowly, at the end of the day.

Today a small team makes every OSHAN batch by hand on Maui, and Shelley trains every spa therapist who works with the line.
