ʻELE Clarifying Face Wash

Wash away the day with ʻELE after sunscreen, salt water and time outside. The black cleanser works into a softly textured lather that lifts daily residue and rinses away cleanly. Hawaiian sandalwood, frankincense, vetiver and juniper berry leave a dry, earthy scent.

Shake well before every use!

Apply a few drops to your wet palms and work into a light foam
Work over a damp face in slow circles, keeping clear of the eyes
Rinse with lukewarm water and press dry
Follow on damp skin with PALUPALU or ʻŌPIO

ACTIVATED COCONUT CHARCOAL. Burned coconut shell, ground very fine. Its surface is full of pores, which is how it draws oil and the residue of a long day off the skin.
HAWAIIAN SANDALWOOD POWDER. Milled wood, soft enough for daily use. It gives the wash its grain and half its scent.
FRANKINCENSE. A resin, steam-distilled. The dry, quiet top of the scent.
VETIVER AND JUNIPER BERRY. Root and berry. Dark and green, and the reason ʻELE smells like earth.

Full Ingredients

Saponified coconut oil, saponified palm kernel oil, saponified olive oil, glycerin, hemp oil, jojoba oil, activated coconut charcoal, sandalwood powder, citric acid, vitamin E. Essential oils: frankincense, vetiver, juniper berry.

This cleanser is so good. A tiny amount goes a long way, so it lasts forever. It leaves my skin feeling really clean without feeling stripped or like there’s a bunch of product left behind. I also love the glass bottle—it feels high quality and looks beautiful on my counter. It’s become one of those easy, everyday products I always reach for.

LOVE this face wash for days I'm wearing sunscreen (being redhead, that's MOST days). Cleans thoroughly but gently and rinses so clean. I have really sensitive, dry skin so I do need to moisturize after, but the face wash itself is NOT drying. Worked great with the konjac sponge.
