When the day has left skin tight or depleted, smooth on LĪHAU before sleep. The solid gelée melts on contact into a rich veil of oil, and a small amount is enough for the entire face. By morning, skin feels softer, rested and deeply comforted.

  • Restores skin that feels tight and weather-worn after a long day outside
  • The C3 Solar Infusion of chamomile, comfrey, and calendula calms heat and redness
  • Kokum, cupuaçu, and murumuru butters melt at body temperature and seal moisture in overnight
  • Edelweiss extract gives leontopodic acid, an antioxidant the plant makes for its own sun exposure

A little goes far. Warm it first.

  • Warm a small amount between your fingertips until it turns to oil
  • Press into a clean, slightly damp face at night
  • Cheeks and forehead first, then the neck
  • Every evening, or on the nights skin feels tightest
  • C3 SOLAR INFUSION. Chamomile, comfrey, and calendula, slow-infused into macadamia oil in our own kitchen. It calms skin that has taken too much sun.
  • EDELWEISS. An alpine flower that grows in thin air and hard light. It makes leontopodic acid to protect itself, and that antioxidant does the same work on skin.
  • KOKUM, CUPUAÇU AND MURUMURU. Three butters, all melting near body temperature. They give the gelée its texture and seal water in overnight.
  • BLUE TANSY. A Moroccan flower, deep blue from chamazulene. It takes the heat out of red, reactive skin.

Macadamia, C3 infusion, kukui, argan, kokum butter, cupuaçu butter, fractionated coconut, murumuru butter, lilikoi seed oil, mimosa floral wax, candelilla wax, vitamin E, edelweiss extract, cucumber seed oil, rosemary CO2. Essential oils: lavender, rose, frankincense, sandalwood, myrrh, helichrysum, blue tansy.

I alternate the Lihau and Moha gelees. I use the Lihau as a moisturizer. It is awesome! At home in Hawaii, it keeps my face moisturized all day or night. It provides a protective moisture barrier against dry winter weather while I am traveling. It is a must have for travel.
