Warm ʻŌLENA between the palms and smooth it over dry areas. Mango and kokum butters melt from a solid balm into a rich oil, while turmeric, sea buckthorn and annatto give it a golden color. The finish leaves skin feeling cushioned and soft.

  • Press into damp skin after a shower

  • TURMERIC. ʻŌlena in Hawaiian, and the plant this balm is named for. It brightens and calms skin, and it gives the balm half its color.
  • MANGO SEED BUTTER. Pressed from the pit. It melts at body temperature and leaves skin soft with no waxy feel.
  • ANNATTO. Seed of the achiote tree, deep orange. A natural color, used here in place of dye.
  • SEA BUCKTHORN CO2. Pressed and extracted without heat, deep orange on its own. In this balm it deepens the gold that turmeric already gives.

Silky, nourishing and the kind of deep hydration my skin craves, I absolutely love the ‘ōlena balm!! The scent is bright yet earthy and I’m loving a small dollop on my neck, collarbone and shoulders before leaving home for a dewy golden look. I haven’t used it as an overnight treatment yet since I sleep in white linen sheets but am using it daily and absolutely love the long-lasting hydration!!
